500 firmas pidiendo el desmantelamiento y traslado de un antena en Cieza
Ecologistas Acción y vecinos de Cieza han presentado 500 firmas en el Ayuntamiento de la ciudad pidiendo el desmantelamiento y traslado de las instalaciones de telefonía móvil ubicadas en el edificio de Telefónica
Las instalaciones, situadas junto a un edificio de viviendas, y a escasos metros de dos colegios públicos (Jerónimo Belda y Cristo del Consuelo), de una Guardería Infantil (La Atalayita) y de un parque público vulnerarían las recomendaciones del Real Decreto 1066/2001 sobre el espacio radioeléctrico de establecer una estrategia de disminución de las emisiones a 100 metros de zonas sensibles del entorno.
Vecinos y ecologistas han demandado en varias ocasiones al consistorio el traslado de las instalaciones, sin embargo, han seguido los intentos de instalar nuevas infraestructuras de telecomunicaciones, hecho denunciado varias veces a la policía municipal. Señalan, además, que según un informe técnico municipal de 2004 no existe licencia de instalación para esa estación de telefonía móvil, a pesar de lo cual la pasividad ante esto ha sido la actitud del ayuntamiento que no ha hecho nada para restituir la legalidad urbanística anterior y proceder al desmantelamiento de la antena.
Ecologistas en Acción se solidariza con la movilización y preocupación vecinal y demanda que se produzca el desmantelamiento de las infraestructuras de esta estación base que hasta ahora se hayan instalado y su traslado a otro emplazamiento más adecuado.
Vecinos y ecologistas señalan que la proliferación descontrolada y caótica de nuevas estaciones base de telefonía móvil provoca un aumento significativo de la exposición residencial y continua de los ciudadanos a las emisiones de estas antenas, y está provocando un crecimiento significativo de los niveles de contaminación.
La aplicación del principio de Precaución y principio alara/alata (la mínima emisión técnicamente posible) así como distancias de seguridad a zonas residenciales, y el control restrictivo del despliegue de estas infraestructuras deben ser los criterios básicos a la hora de autorizar la ubicación de este tipo de infraestructuras de telecomunicaciones en el municipio de Cieza.
